The other day I visited the coastal city of Sines on the SW coast of Portugal. Now this city is really interesting because not only is it weathered by the Atlantic but it also has one of the largest oil refineries in Europe. The paintwork on many of the houses is in quite a bad state which for many is ugly, however for me it was like visiting any contemporary modern arts museum.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
